Infrared Sauna Detox Therapy
What To Expect:
Sauna Sessions are by appointment only, this allows us enough time to clean, prep and warm up sauna. We book 30- 45 min sessions and require 24 hours notice for cancellations. No shows will be charged full price or have single session removed from purchased pre-packs. Please enter and exit room promptly. We have adequate space up front to relax and cool down if need be!
Temperature & Perspiration Expectation:
Infrared saunas heat the body, not the air. The temperature inside the sauna is not to be confused with your body temp or the quality of your session. Please do not get fixated on the temp or how much you sweat. Anywhere from 45-60* C is ideal to experience the benefits. Perspiration will vary from client and session, depending on daily activity, diet and fluid intake you may find you sweat some session more then others. Sweating usually begins 6-15 minutes into your session.
What to Wear:
Some clients choose to wear bathing suits or work out gear, we suggest going nude! The more exposed the skin the better! We provide towels and suggest you come dressed in or bring loose comfy clothes to change into after.
We encourage you to drink plenty of water prior to your session, as well as during and after! You are allowed to bring in a bottle of water with you as long as you are careful to avoid spills. We have a water cooler to fill up and bottled water available to purchase for $2.
